The Chemtronics 80-2-10 is a yellow, 10' long copper desoldering braid. The lead-free braids provide effective thermal transfer to solder joints quicker than conventional desoldering braids. The Chemtronics 80-2-10 Soder-Wick is the fastest, safest rosin flux desoldering braid packaged in a dissipative bobbin. Soder-Wick is designed for todays heat sensitive electronic components using lighter mass, pure copper braid construction that allows for better thermal conductivity, even at low temperatures. Soder-Wick responds faster than conventional desoldering braids thereby minimizing overheating and preventing PCB damage.
