Desco 13460 ESD Static Shielding Open Top Bag [8x10]

The 13460 is an 8x10" open top static shield bag. The 3 mil thick Statshield‚ Metal-In series bag is designed to physically protect it's contents at the same time it is protecting it from electrostatic fields and discharges.These bags provide a static safe environment for electronic devices. The integral antistatic, low tribocharging properties prevent electrostatic charges during movement. The bags consist of three layers: an inner and outer static dissipative polyester layer, and a middle aluminum-shielding layer. The aluminum layer has the properties to discharge 5,000 volts to 0 volts in 50 µsec. The bags feature an amine-free construction allowing compatibility with polycarbonate for a non-corrosive, noncontaminating environment. Select from bags with or without zippers. Zippered bags feature a low charging zipper for a convenient, recloseable seal. Bags without zippers are heat sealable. Packs of 100 bags.
